私は、長野県の志賀高原及び地獄谷野猿公苑で野生のニホンザルの生態観察をしています。
志賀高原のサルたちは人間の介入を一切受けない、完全な野生群です。
地獄谷野猿公苑は、サルたちの野生生活を最大限に尊重しつつ、餌付けすることでより身近な環境で詳細な観察をすることが出来ます。

私たちは猿たちの野生生活に介入しません。
私たちは野生の猿たちの自立した生活を尊重します。
これは最も大切なことだと思います。
